Big fella

I wonder if this tree is going to feel small after New Zealand. (I’m going there to work this summer.) For now, this is probably the biggest fell I’ve done so far. 30-meter elm tree with several stems.

 

 

Lunchbreak, tree to the left is an ash.

 

I shouldn’t have to try before I understood that spear cut on green elm wood won’t work so well (the tear, the tear). But all in all, it went well.
